The Coolangatta Sands Hotel, affectionately known as “The Sands” by locals, is located in the heart of Coolangatta, a hundred metres or so from the nearest surf beach. Since 1911, this beautiful old pub has undergone many transitions—the most significant being a multi-million dollar refurbishment in 2006, transforming it into a contemporary family friendly hotel, bistro and lounge bar.

We aim to create fun & family friendly hospitality venues – in iconic coastal locations - which contribute to their wider communities with excellent food, beverage, customer service, function & entertainment options. At present we operate venues from Port Macquarie through to Coolangatta, and are growing quickly.
