We have a very diverse community, which is reflected in the make-up of our school. Our children come from a variety of places around the world and we like to celebrate this in classrooms and at special events, like Refugee Week. The atmosphere around the school is positive and each class has its own character. Cleves Primary School, a Complex Needs Resource School. We are situated in London’s East End and we pride ourselves on being a diverse and vibrant learning environment which reflects our local community. We are enriched by a large number of pupils with significant, complex and high level special needs who are fully included in our curriculum, just like their mainstream classmates.

The Altmore and Lathom Schools Federation is a very large, happy and successful partnership of Altmore Infant School and Children’s Centre, and Lathom Junior School. Both sites are in East Ham, in the east London borough of Newham.
