Flame-diamond is a creation of the contemporary state of the art. Modern technology enable us to grow diamond as if it were naturally grown underneath the earth’s soil. In the U.S., an enormous amount of funding has been used on the experiment of growing the like-diamond without the assistance of nature.

基督教協基會於1984年，已展開本地社會服務，更開辦第一間新翠青年中心，並於85年獲社會福利署資助。1987年於元朗洪水橋，自費開辦錫安閱覽室；隨後於1990年田景青少年中心及1992年黃埔青少年中心相繼投入服務。為了拓展不同種類的服務，本會自資於沙田大圍開辦新翠家長資源中心，並於1996年9月投入服務。2000年8月開展中學學校社會工作服務，而12月開拓小學駐校社工服務，及接辦與發展元朗福音中心的社會服務工作。2002年開展綜合青少年服務中心，並於03年擴展元朗社會服務中心，機構亦於07年開辦社會企業『我‧概念節目策劃管理』，提供娛樂表演節目，協助弱勢青年就業。
