ירושלים היא הליבה שלנו. היא המקור והיא הבסיס. היא ההשראה והיא המופע עצמו. היא התפאורה והיא הבמה המרכזית. היא הקושי והיא הפתרון. היא המעיין שממנו הכל נובע והיא בור הניקוז שאליו חוזר הכל. במשך חמש שנות פעילות ביקשנו לגלות את ירושלים, לשאוב ממנה השראה ולהפוך אותה לחומר הגלם שממנו נובעת כל האמנות שאנחנו מציגים. חיפשנו דרך לייצג אותה כמקום של קדושה וכמקום של חול, כבית של מסורת וכהיכל של חדשנות. ביקשנו למצוא ביטויים אמנותיים למתח המפרה בין ההיסטוריה לבין העתיד והווה וניסינו להפוך אותה לבירת תרבות עכשווית. אבל עכשיו, אחרי חמש שנים של התנסויות, התפלפלויות, יצירות ומחשבות - אנחנו מבינים שירושלים, עבורנו לפחות, היא מצב תודעה. שירושלים היא כל מה שאי אפשר לשים תחת הגדרה. שירושלים מכריחה אותנו, תמיד, לצאת מהאוטומט ולהביט באותו רגע גם בטוב וגם ברע. שהיא מחייבת אותנו ליצור את הנשגב מתוך הייאוש ושהיא מייאשת גם כשנשגב נושק לאפך ועכשיו, אחרי חמש שנים של התעסקות והתעמקות בביטויים של ירושלים אנחנו מבינים שבסוף בסוף בסוף ירושלים מתנקזת לשורש ק.ד.ש. מהקדושה נובעים האמונה, החסד והתקווה לתיקון עולם. מהקדושה מבעבעים ההפרדה, ההדרה והשנאה. הקדושה היא המעיין שממנו שופע כל הטוב שיש בעיר הזו והקדושה גם היא אבן השתייה שממנה גולש כל מה שרע ועכשיו, אחרי חמש שנים שרקדנו מסביב לנקודת המוצא, אנחנו מרגישים בשלים ובוגרים מספיק בשביל לצלול אל הליבה ולהציע הרחבה והעמקה של המושג קדוש, מתקדש ומקודש בכל היצירות שאנחנו מציגים לכם נבקש, בצניעות המתבקשת ותוך כבוד לכל מה שהיה כאן לפני, להציע עוד דרך להסתכל על הקדושה של העיר. נבקש לראות את ירושלים כמקום שיכול להכיל ולהדיר בו זמנית כל אחד ואחת מאיתנו. כמקום שמאפשר ומחייב כמעט כל אחד ואחת לצאת מאזור הנוחות שלו ולתור אחרי מה שמקודש בעיניו התהליכים שעוברים על ירושלים ועל ישראל השפיעו גם עלינו, והתגובה שלנו היא מקודשת 2016 – פסטיבל מרוכז, ששואב השראה מהמציאות בירושלים, מאנשים של ירושלים ומהתהליכים המרתקים שקורים בה וסביבה. הפסטיבל אוצר את המציאות לעבודות אמנות מוקפדות ומרחיבות תודעה ומבקש גם, במידת האפשר, להאיר את היופי והטוב שנובעים מירושלים, וליצור מציאות באמצעות האמנות היצירות שאנחנו מציגים לכם נובעות מתוך ירושלים או מתנקזות לתוכה. הן מערערות ומהרהרות בכל מה שקדוש בה. יונקת מהמציאות ומבקשת להפרות אותה. מטלטלות ובוחנות מוסכמות שנקשרו בעיר. משחררות את הצלילים הצורמים וההרמוניים הבוקעים מתוכה. והשנה, ממעוף הציפור, היצירות שלנו גם מאתגרות את ההגדרה המקובלת לאמנות ודורשות מאיתנו לעצור ולבחון שוב את עצמנו בשלושת השבועות של מקודשת, ובעצם בכל רגע ובכל שנייה, נבקש לחזור אל הבסיס, אל המעיין, אל הטבור ואל הלב ולהגיד לכל מי שמאמין - לא משנה במה - בואו לירושלים. בואו תחפשו בה את עצמכם. בואו בשלום
