My passion...is to capture expressions and emotion in my photographs. I have been fascinated with photography since I was in grade school. I was always the one with the camera, getting great action and group shots. I never went anywhere without my camera and, everyone has ALWAYS depended on me to capture the memories of every event. Through the years, I have long considered photography as just simply an enthusiastic hobby, however, it became more intensified upon the birth of my child. Now, I never put the camera down. It wasn't until 8 years ago when the company I worked for, for 22 years, sold. Everyone told me that this was the time for me to pursue my dreams, and now I am. I started shooting weddings and quickly found out how much I love taking candids and getting people's expressions. Most of the time, I don't want my subjects to pose. I love to capture them in the moment. I have recently been shooting local sport tournaments and can I tell you how awesome action photography is for me. I was recently told by a mom that it is amazing how I capture the personality of a child as if I've photgraphed them for years, when in fact I just meet them. That is why I love to do what I do. I am a perfectionist in everything that I do. My goal is to be at the right place at the right time and to get that hard to get shot. I want to see excitement and joy in people's faces when they see the pictures that I have taken of their families and friends.
