Editors Queensland Inc. (EdsQ) is a professional organisation formed in 1990 [under the then title of the Society of Editors (Queensland)] to promote excellence in editing and publishing, and to encourage the exchange of ideas and information on publishing matters. EdsQ meets regularly to discuss language style and usage, design and other publishing matters; publishes a monthly newsletter; and conducts training workshops and seminars in Brisbane and other centres in Queensland.
