MicroRate is the first microfinance rating agency, dedicated to evaluating microfinance institutions (MFIs) and microfinance investment vehicles (MIVs) or microfinance investment funds. As the first microfinance rater, MicroRate has conducted over 650 microfinance institution evaluations. MicroRate has rated a wide range MFIs from microfinance banks to NGOs that fund microenterprises. The microfinance sector highly values MicroRate’s evaluations for their independent, objective analyses of MFIs and MIVs.
