We have organized a Live, Head to Head Competition that allows Sound Designers, Audio Engineers, Djs, Producers, Beat Makers to Create & Compete on one soundstage. This 3 round battle is a test of ones musical skill, creativity, performance, showmanship, dynamics, quality and overall ability to move the crowd. Whilst the audio battle rages on, we also have Live visual imagery provided by artists painting their inspirations. The final mural will be presented to the victor of this competition. Each Contestant will be equipped with his/her own musical instruments, headphones and audio tools. We will provide them with 3 separate composition tasks, one of which will be revealed and must be created live on stage. Each round will be judged and critiqued by a Celebrity Judge, Veteran Audio Engineer, Recording Artist and You. Joshua Winer is an award winning artist specializing in murals, mosaics, mobiles and works of public art. He is nationally recognized for his architectural murals, historical murals, community murals and residential murals. He has also created mosaic murals for schools, libraries, and cultural centers from a variety of materials including Italian glass, Mexican smalti, and handmade ceramic tiles. Over the last twenty years, he has created hundreds of works of art in Boston, Massachusetts, as well as in cities across the United States, including Wayne Michigan, Ottawa Illinois, and San Diego California. For ten years he has been working as a decorative painter at Chateau Picomtal in the French Alps, creating painted finishes including faux-bois, faux marble, stencils, murals, and mural restoration. In addition, Joshua Winer is an educator who teaches classes in Mural Design and Painting, Trompe L'Oeil Painting, and Mosaics at universities and colleges of art and design. He also works as an Artist-in-Residence and as a Visiting Artist in schools throughout New England, creating murals, mosaics and mobiles with students of all ages.
