Peter More, former frontman of Austin-based group Oh Whitney, has called several places home. The band originally formed in Brooklyn in 2011 before relocating to San Miguel, Mexico to record their eponymous album with drummer Rick Shlosser (Van Morrsion/James Taylor). After touring in Mexico and Brasil for a stint, they returned stateside to Austin, TX to finish their forthcoming album produced by Donald Fagen (Steely Dan), set to release in 2017.

Liima will release their new album '1982' November 3rd 2017 on City Slang. This is the official website for the band including tour dates, videos and more. Like its predecessor, ‘1982’ was written during four residencies, beginning in January, 2016 – before Liima’s debut ‘ii’ was even released – at The London Edition, where Casper Clausen, Rasmus Stolberg, Mads Brauer and Tatu Rönkkö worked in a club in the hotel’s basement, sometimes watched by small crowds, much as PJ Harvey was during the making of The Hope Six Demolition Project at London’s Somerset House. They reassembled at another hotel in Copenhagen before embarking upon tours of North America, South America, and Europe. Even then, they’d reconvene between trips to continue work, first in the less glamorous surroundings of a music conservatory in Viseu, Portugal, in July 2016, then, finally, in August, at Berlin’s Michelberger Hotel. By the time they gathered in Mankku Studios in Porvoo – again in the Finnish countryside – Liima were more than ready to begin recording with Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor as co-producer. Gillespie died in 1993, and Cherry released his first recording as a leader, 'First Take' (Groovin' High). That same year, Ed recorded with Paquito D'Riveras' small group and recorded "Havana Cafe" (Chesky Records). Ed also worked with composer/saxophonist Henry Threadgill for two years and recorded  three cds with Henry's 'Very Very Circus' group. In 1995, Cherry released his second project as a solo artist, entitled A Second Look (Groovin' High). During that same period Ed worked with Hammond organist John Patton recording three critically acclaimed cds with Patton's quartet-'Blue Planet Man','Minor Swing' and 'This ones for Jah'(DIW). From 1997 to 1998, Cherry worked in Roy Hargrove's “Crisol” Latin jazz band, which performed in Havana, Cuba. During this same period, he also worked w/baritone saxophonist, Hamiett Bluiett, recording  'With Eyes Wide Open' on Justin-Time records. In 2001, Cherry toured Europe for the first time with his own group. He also released his latest CD, The Spirit Speaks on the Canadian Justin Time label, inspired by the great jazz organist Jimmy Smith with whom he had also recently worked.Ed was asked to perform at the 'Vodaphone Madarao Jazz festival' in 2002 in Madarao Japan with his quartet featuring trumpeter Jon Faddis. In 2003 Ed performed with his quartet at Detroit Jazz Festival.  Right now,Ed is a member of vocalist Paula West quartet as well as leading his own trio. In addition to his stellar work as a sideman and as a critically acclaimed leader, Ed Cherry also has impressive credentials as a music educator. He taught guitar at Essex Community College in Newark, NJ from 1995 to 1996, and at the Henry Street Settlement in New York City from 1996 to 1997. He was also a faculty member at Montclair State University, School of Fine and Performing Arts for J.O.Y. Official website for the music of Walter Martin. Walter Martin is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist best known for his work with rock 'n' roll bands The Walkmen and Jonathan Fire*Eater. In 2014 he launched a solo career with the release of 'We're All Young Together', a critically acclaimed and award winning children's album. On January 29, 2016, Martin released 'Arts & Leisure', a new album of original songs for adults.

Naer Mataron were gathered back in the year 1994 with the aim to play Hellenic black metal. Their lyrics are dealing with the ancient Hellenic pantheon, with virtues such as pride and honor drawn from periods and heroes of European history. After the release of the promo tape “The Great God Pan”, they released their debut album “Up from the Ashes” on Black Lotus Recs. This successful release is followed by the “Skotos Aenaon”, “River at Dash Scalding” and “Discipline Manifesto” albums, each one driving Naer Mataron one step further into the exploration of true black metal. Throughout their 17 year history, they have shared the stage with significant bands, such as Mayhem, Rotting Christ, Dissection, Gorgoroth, Arcturus, Dodheimsgard, participated in big festivals and headlined several successful shows. In this period most of their albums have been re-released on several editions, along with some cult 7” ep releases. In the Spring of 2007, Naer Mataron traveled to Oslo, Norway and entered the studio to record "Praetorians"... The spawn of Naer Mataron's unholy alliance with the notorious mr. Vicotnik from DHG (Vocals & production), is something more than the 5th album of one of the most respected Hellenic hordes: it is actually their most extreme, fast and uncompromising work to date! Release date set for May 2008. The year 2009 comes along with a new ambitious drummer for the band. The demons call him Asmodeus Draco Dux, and with him dominating the drum kit, they joined Jarboe on the "Mother of Changes" European Tour. Shortly after, they flied to South America for their first headline tour "Apocalypse of the Ancient One". The newfound chemistry created by Indra and Asmodeus Draco Dux urges the band into a more brutal direction, so Kaiadas seizes the opportunity to lead the band into the paths of death. NAER MATARON, having found new comradeship in the ranks of Witching Hour Prod, glorify death and unveil him as something that peaks with birth and ceases in death.
