Serving as an organizing official and/or race committee member for local, national and international sailing regattas, Parker has managed to grab photographic stills of competitors pursuing victory in perilously rough, fast waters --- from the deck of a rocking, some times wet boat. On any given weekend, Priscilla experiences the saltwater rush that coexists themes for a greater cause --- raising funds and supporting sailing events to support cancer research and patient care. After becoming the first person to use computer technology for onboard scoring of Charleston Race Week in 2005, Parker was toting a camera as part other racing official gear -- generally a scoring pad, whistle, flags, and an accurate clock. After 30 years of either competitor or race committee member in sailing events, Parker figured it time she started recording the experience for enjoyment later. The switch from 35mm to digital brought about a new and different world of photography. Her shots have captured soaked racing jocks standing parallel to the waves on the edge of a sailboat; the ominous view of the Spirit of South Carolina tall ship as it passes under the Cooper River span; and colorful clusters of competitors that have come to Charleston from lands afar to test the Charleston currents. Her work has been featured in national sailing and boating publications, as well as local news media. The New Bern, NC native has become an indelible member of the Lowcountry sailing community as a member of the Charleston Ocean Racing Association, South Atlantic Yacht Racing Association, Charleston Yacht Club and volunteer with the Leukemia Lymphoma Society Leukemia Cup Regatta and past volunteer for the Maritime Heritage Foundation. Her work speaks of her love for the sport and passion to immortalize the moment.

Following her promotion to Art Director at The Cimarron Group in 2012, she began her own commercial photographic practice. Woods has exhibited her fine art internationally- in Japan, England and the US. Gesina Liedmeier - Gesina Liedmeier is a very versatile artist and craftswoman. She makes historical bowed instruments, plays the viol and musical saw, carves images in wood and other materials, does restoration and conservation of historical instruments and sculptures, paints with historical painting techniques, illustrates, and teaches in various settings. The threads running through her work are her interest in history, her skilful craftsmanship and the power of her imagination. Anne is a Professor of Landscape Architecture and Planning at MIT, where she teaches courses on urban landscape design and planning, photography, and landscape history. Before MIT, she taught at Harvard and at the University of Pennsylvania. Her most recent book, Daring to Look: Dorothea Lange’s Photographs and Notes from the Field (University of Chicago Press, 2008) received the 2009 Great Place Book Award from the Environmental Design Research Association and the 2009 John Brinckerhoff Jackson Book Prize from the Foundation for Landscape Studies for a book that “breaks new ground.” It was a finalist for the Art Historian Association\'s 2009 Art Book Award and for the American Association of Publishers\' 2008 PROSE Awards in Art and Art History. Her first book, The Granite Garden: Urban Nature and Human Design (Basic Books, 1984), is still in print and has been published in Japanese and Portuguese. In 1984 it received the President\'s Award of Excellence from the American Society of Landscape Architects, and, in 2009, the American Planning Association named it one of the “essential books” of the past century. Her second book, The Language of Landscape (Yale, 1998) is a required text in landscape architecture and landscape studies.

MAE JEMISON, M.D. Former Astronaut, Principal, 100 Year Starship Dr. Mae C. Jemison broke more than the sound barrier in 1992 when she climbed aboard the space shuttle Endeavour and became the first woman of color to travel into space. She was also NASA’s first Science Mission Specialist performing experiments in material science, life science and human adaptation to weightlessness. Dr. Jemison is currently the Principal for the 100 Year Starship Project. Her leadership and vision provides guidance and direction for the foundation and in fulfilling its goal of ensuring all the capabilities for a successful human journey to another star will exist by 2112.

HELP Bibian to defend her Gold medal at the Paralympic games in Peyong Chang 2018.     After beating cancer for 9 times in the last 18 years, Bibian just never gives up.  In 2001 Bibian lost her leg due to bone cancer, in the last 17 years the cancer came back 8 times. In may 2016 her doctors told her there was nothing they could do any more and that she was going to die. But a new way of radiation by the MRIdian kept her a life. This summer the cancer came back in her neck and Bibian had to go true major surgery, where her C6 vertebra was replaced for a Titanium construction but Bibian is already back in training.      Bibian won the gold medal in Sotchi, is 7 times World Champion and unbeaten since march 2012, but oddly enough most sponors gave up on here and her own federation only supports 9% so she does not have enough funding for a good training program. Please support Bibian and help here to show the world that it is all about Mentelity. Please help Bibian to make this next miracle happen!   #Because we have received several questions regarding the amount we are trying to raise and on what it will be spend, here below an explanation.
