I am a mother, a wife, and a photographer... in that order. ;) I love my family first and foremost. I am a jack of many trades, I love creating, everything - from beautiful images, to costumes, to yummy foods. I love my craft closet, (which is full of stuff I can use to make things for you session that will make it that much more interesting) I love my costume and prop collection, I love thrift stores and flea markets, and I love a good sale anywhere. I enjoy reading good long books as well as writing, (although life has seemed to push that pastime to the side for the most part) and I rarely ever watch TV. I enjoy the outdoors and sports, and when I get old I will be be an avid traveler. ;) The sky amazes me and I have recently began taking random photos of it (awesome for overlays)...., I would love to have a second house at the ocean. I have an obsession with dying my hair random colors dependent upon my mood, and lately am rarely seen without a bandana tied around my head. If asked about my favorite color, I would have to say that I love them all (which is reflected throughout the walls of my home) yet I always gravitate toward things that are black. I am inspired in one way or another by everything that I have ever seen or experienced. (good, bad, and ugly) I like to think that I am a very intelligent person, I have an extremely sarcastic sense of humor at times, and I truly enjoy people. I have a very good sense of style, although my clothing choices for myself may not always reflect that as I am often in a tank top and jeans. (That said, you will never catch me dead in "mom" jeans) I drive too fast, and love music....all genres, like in a "My name is Amanda and I must be schizophrenic due to my playlist" kind of way.... I am not a "professionally trained photographer" so I can show you no credentials aside from my portfolio, as I am completely self taught and expand on my creativity and knowledge whenever possible. I suppose we can call me an extremely passionate artist of the lens, eager to capture and create some fantastic images for you. We are each an unique work of art, I am here to make sure your portraits reflect just that. I can produce a perfectly beautiful image of you sooc (straight out of camera), although rarely will I ever be satisfied with leaving it at that. I would like to consider myself extremely versatile in the creativity department. I love to do themed shoots, and can create costumes as well as other items necessary to pull them off. I have an eye for location, and love and appreciate natural light and texture. I am slightly "edgy", and love to think outside of the box. While there is nothing "conservative" about my taste or personality, I am able to mold my creative juices to suit the situation. So, no matter if you are looking to push the boundaries, or stay comfortably, simply, and beautifully artistic I am the photographer for you. I can do it all. Step away from mediocrity, step into originality. Book today. Photography is an art form, let me create a masterpiece for you. I am sure that I will add to this, but that's all for now. Let's shoot. Contract must be signed prior to shooting, and I reserve the right to change my pricing at any time. Expect gallery to be completed around one month from shooting depending on work volume. Email Me Also find me at http://www.facebook.com/PhotoholicElixirPhotography

Street Photography is about how you capture what’s around you, how confident you are as a person, how you handle peoples reactions when or after you take their photo. I know it seems scary but just go for it, but not everybody feels confident in public with a camera and taking pictures of people, you need basic knowledge, it’s like laying a foundation before we build a house, it's what makes it strong. Street Photography is not everyone's cup of tea, best to do it for yourself, fill your curiosity. You don’t have to be a serious Street Photographer, as long this genre makes you get up and get out, that’s great. I believe we only gain something from focussing on what we do and keep on trying. I never stop learning when doing Street, everything about it fascinates me, from the people, shadows, shapes, to en empty road. Since I started Street photography, I never get bored. I do Street everywhere, weekends, during holidays, days out with friends, in good weather or bad weather, in broad daylight or at night. The Street is available to everyone who’s willing to do it, 24/7. I started my workshops early in 2017, it’s my great pleasure to introduce Street Photography to others and keep motivating them afterwards. I am always pleased to discover that many of my workshop attendees actually have the skills and understanding but need advice and demonstrations to begin with. I regularly see my workshop attendees doing well after workshops, they start “seeing things” which is the hardest part in Street photography. They gain the confidence to go out and the most important thing is they enjoy it, they feel that Street Photography gives them something to look forward, to go outside and practice. I think that’s wonderful. During the workshops I demonstrate my skills by showing some of my images that I have taken over many years, I point out good subjects that I spot on the Street and give them the explanation and of course I make sure my attendees doing a lot of practising to gain their confidence. My advice to beginners is: Go out, make lots of mistakes and importantly, enjoy it!

My Story and How I Started My name is Jason R. Samy. I’ve been taking pictures as long as I can remember, but I got my first experience with a 35mm SLR in my early adult life. Over time I converted to digital and I haven't ever looked back. My portfolio displays many styles of photography that I’ve learned over the years and I continue to expedient with different techniques. I started off shooting anything in front of me, but ask anyone who knows me; I’m rarely without my camera. Outside of taking pictures of my friends, family, and things around me, I started shooting different dance events and shows. That got me started on some portrait and portfolio work. And this eventually led to my first engagement and wedding shoots. I can say because of my experiences, that i am somewhat a “jack of all trades” kind of photographer. I am still striving to find my niche in photography and learn with every push of the trigger on my camera, but I love to photograph everything. A lot of events in life happen in the blink of an eye, and photos are once in a life time moments that I like to capture and share with everyone. Photography started as a hobby for me, and as lucky as it sounds to some, it is now a passion that I get paid to do. Booking, Contacting, and Information I have my own equipment; everything from cameras, flashes, and backdrops. I’m available for location shoots and have access to a studio if necessary. If the event/shoot requires more then one photographer, I can have a 2nd or 3rd photographer if wanted, or needed. I can also provide hair and makeup artist(s) if needed. *Weddings - I work directly with many other highly recommended DJs, hair and makeup artists and will provide links to websites and samples for packaging deals and discounts. If you would like me cover your event or take your photos, please contact me for pricing and availability. Cafe culture is strong in Taiwan. Especially in Taipei, where there's a university around every corner, instagrammable cafes nestle everywhere. Everywhere you go, cafe culture is a little bit different. This fascinates me, since I spend a lot of time in cafes working, reading, and studying. Here are some quick observations about how Taipei's cafe culture is different from the US's. Roboppy's relatable "should I go to a cafe?" flowchart. Click through to read about her favorite cafes in Taipei! 1. Prime cafe hours are after lunch My senior year of college I'd head to a cafe directly after I'd showered, arriving around 7am. I'm used to coffee places opening at five or six in the morning to accommodate commuters who need their caffeine, but things are different in Taiwan. While lots of cafes in the US open early and close in the afternoon, cafe time in Taiwan starts around 10am and often stretches into the night. 2. The wifi password is probably their phone number. It's also usually posted somewhere, and if it's not, well, "wifi" needs no translation. Easy peasy. If you go to Starbucks, though, it's another matter. To access Starbucks' wifi, you'll need a phone number where you can get SMS messages. 3. You probably pay when you leave, not when you order. At chains like Starbucks, Dante, and Barista, paying when you order is standard. Not so at smaller cafes, where you frequently pay right before you leave. Even if you're leaving six hours after you first got there. Yes, I've walked out without paying and then the barista had to run after me and I had to walk myself back inside and apologize profusely, why do you ask? Cat's Got Nothing To Do Cafe, with a great view of Taipei. 4. There's probably a resident animal. In the US, laws prevent having animals in restaurants. In Taiwan, it's practically a national tradition. They did invent the cat cafe, after all! It's pretty common to have a cat live in a cafe or for the owners to bring their pup to work. My favorite cafe is home to a long-haired corgi! As long as you don't have a serious dander allergy, embrace the fluff. There's nothing like drinking tea while watching cats. 5. Cafes are big on dessert. Cafes in Taiwan serve dainty sponge cakes and waffles, and it's standard to get a drink and dessert if you're not buying a meal. (It's not impolite to skip the dessert or anything, it's just part of the Taiwanese cafe culture.) 6. Outside seating is frequently buggy and smokey. Just a heads up. 7. It ain't cheap. Lattes will cost you more than dinner here -- they run about 150NTD, whereas your average meal is around 100. Tea isn't cheaper, which is maddening to me. (The Louisa Coffee near the Da'An Library is a great spot if you want some cafe time but are working on a tight budget. Their teas are 30-50NTD! (I don't usually bring my camera to cafes, which means I don't have lots of cute cafe pictures. I promise the cafes are cute, though! I'll update when I get more pictures.)

A renewal agreement extends this setup to 2018 and suggests the partnership is bearing fruit for both companies. 21vianet-to-operate-azure-cloud-in-china-into-2018 Microsoft first partnered with 21Vianet a few years ago in a bid to extend its cloud in China via a local partner. China represents a huge growth market for Chinese and foreign cloud providers, but navigating the market isn’t simple for an outsider. In November 2012, Microsoft, 21Vianet, and the Shanghai Municipal Government announced a strategic partnership agreement in which Microsoft licensed the technology know-how and rights to operate and provide Office 365 and Windows Azure services in China to 21Vianet. “Since 2012, teams from Microsoft and 21Vianet have worked diligently and seamlessly in the preparation, public preview, and commercial launch of both Windows Azure and Office 365 services in China,” said Josh Chen, CEO of 21Vianet, in a press release. Several Chinese tech giants, including software developer Kingsoft, invested $300 million in 21Vianet last year. The investment is going toward expanding its data center footprint in a bid to capture the burgeoning Chinese cloud and data center services market. Some of those data centers have been built specifically in support of Microsoft. In 2013, it added a 5,000-cabinet facility in support of Azure. “We remain firmly committed to the Chinese cloud market, and we believe this extended partnership with 21Vianet will serve as a strong foundation for both companies to further contribute to the development of the cloud computing ecosystem throughout China,” said Ralph Haupter, vice president and CEO for Microsoft Greater China, in a press release. There are several regulatory compliance needs to get within what many dub as “The Great Firewall of China.” Officially called the Golden Shield Project, it is essentially an internet surveillance and censorship system that makes it hard to serve Chinese customers from outside. The market remains a separate entity in need of being served from within, and the typical path for a foreign company has been to partner with a local service provider. Amazon Web Services launched a Chinese region through ChinaNetCenter. Apple stores local iCloud data in China Telecom data centers. Several new data center builds have been announced in China recently, including by NTT and CenturyLink, which has launched a data center in Shanghai. Big recent news was a Distributed Denial of Service attack originating in China hit the popular open source code repository GitHub. The DDos attack against GitHub followed an attack on Greatfire.org, following a Wall Street Journal article about anti-censorship groups using U.S. cloud computing services to circumvent blocking by Chinese authorities. Amazon Web Services introduced new dense-storage instances for its EC2 cloud meant for processing multi-terabyte data sets. The new D2 instances provide additional compute power and memory compared to HS1 instances as well as ability to sustain high rates of sequential disk I/O for access to extremely large data sets (or, if you’re reading this 10 years from now, small data sets). People are getting comfortable with storing and processing larger amounts of data in the cloud, so instance sizes are growing in tow to handle more heavy-duty jobs. new-aws-instances-chew-through-very-large-data-sets The instances are based on Intel’s Haswell processors running at base clock frequency of 2.4 GHz. Each virtual CPU (vCPU) is a hardware hyperthread on an Intel Xeon E5-2676 v3 chip. The largest of the new instances are capable of providing up to 3,500 MB/second read and 3,100 MB/second write performance with Linux. new-aws-instances-chew-through-very-large-data-sets1 The largest instance also comes with bonus features of NUMA support and CPU power management. NUMA (Non-Uniform Memory Access) allows specifying an affinity between an application and a processor that will result in use of memory that is “closer” to the processor and therefore more rapidly accessed. It’s possible to launch multiple D2 instances in a placement group (logical grouping of instances in single availability zone, meant for applications in need of low network latency, high network throughput or both). The D2 instances provide the best disk performance when you use a Linux kernel that supports Persistent Grants – an extension to the Xen block ring protocol that significantly improves disk throughput and scalability. Storage on D2 is local, so it’s advised to build redundancy in storage architecture and use a fault-tolerant file system. Each instance is EBS-optimized by default. “EBS” stands for “Elastic Block Storage.” Enhanced networking is available on D2, joining availability on C3, C4, and I2 families. Enabling enhanced networking results in higher performance (packets per second), lower latency, and lower jitter. “With Enhanced Networking and extremely high sequential high I/O rates, these instances will chew through your Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) data warehouse, log processing, and MapReduce jobs,” AWS chief evangelist Jeff Barr wrote in a blog post. “They will also make great hosts for your network file systems and data warehouses.”Hybrid Cloud’s Need for Speed By admin on 21/08/2015 52SHARESSHARE TWEET SHARE SHARE 0 COMMENTS As more businesses are moving data to the cloud and outside of corporate walls, and more data is being generated via the Internet of Things (IoT), it’s turning into a hybrid world. Not only does data need to be put into context that crosses company and geographical boundaries, making for a distributed infrastructure, but the window of time when the magic must happen is also shrinking. hybrid-clouds-need-for-speed Data center provider Interxion, IBM, and big data platform Qubole are three very different providers and architects of the hybrid world. All are betting that agility and real-time needs will be a key driver in the transformation to hybrid. While cost savings is part of the hybrid story (optimizing what workloads go where based on cost), the bigger picture involves optimizing the user experience (maximizing what workloads go where based on provided value). Whether it be an employee with a back-office application, a developer in need of compute resources on the fly, or a consumer on a shopping spree, it all needs to happen in or near real time. Interxion views itself as building the railroad station hubs of the internet, having built data center infrastructure across Europe in all major metropolitan areas. It acts as an aggregation point for clouds, networks, and content. As a result, a new data center edge is arising, according to Ian McVey, director for enterprise and systems integrators for Interxion. As data and consumption become more distributed, data centers need to be closer to the end user and connections must be secure. IBM sees hybrid as the foundation for smarter apps, tapping richer data sets. Cloud means certain data is exposable. Its role is helping to connect these data clouds and putting that data in proper context with the right tools, as well as leveraging it in new contexts in order to build smarter applications. “Everything is becoming hybrid,Do you like donate your car,Donate car in USA,Car donating,Donate Car to Charity California,How to Donating my Car,Donate Car for Tax Credit,Donate Cars in MA,Donate Your Car Sacramento,How to Donate A Car in California,Donate your new car,Donate Your Car for Kids,What is donatng Car,Donate car,Donate Car for elders,Donating Car for mothers
