PeaceWorks Kansas City is dedicated to ending the use of military power to achieve objectives when viable alternatives are available. We seek an end to the testing, production, and deployment of nuclear weapons, space weapons and other weapons of mass destruction. We also call for restraint in the manufacture and sale of conventional weapons in international trade and a reordering of federal budget priorities to meet human needs. We recognize, as an essential part of this mission, the importance of co-operation with other groups who share a wider vision of a world of common security and human rights.

Republicans and war hawks are working to sabotage diplomacy and lead us into another disastrous war in the Middle East. We can stop them--and achieve peace with Iran, if we take action this month.
