I’ve noticed that in almost every fashion magazine ad a model is carrying a purse whether the ad is actually for the purse or for the outfit that is accessorized by the purse.  It makes me think that since most women must have an abundance of things at all times (wallet, tissue, keys, make-up, phone, etc.) we should have a decent looking purse.  Even when I’m dressed in jeans or leggings, exercise clothes or even a bathing suit coverup, carrying a clean and classic purse or bag makes me feel a bit more pulled together.   I've also noticed that many more women are carrying backpacks now and there is an abundance of choices.  I personally haven't started carrying a backpack but I will say there are days when I wish I did. There is no need to spend a great deal of money on purses, but why not get rid of the ones that are worn, falling apart or just plain faded and buy one that is classic, neutral in color, works with most of your wardrobe, and fits the necessary items you need to have at all times. If you do like designer purses and bags, (which I do!) then spluge on a real one and don't waste your money on fakes.  They look fake, they don't last and there are many nice choices of well-made purses that cost about the same price.
