We're a team of thirty students with one goal — a greater, more collaborative engineering community at UT Dallas. We run events, workshops, HackUTD, projets, and more.

The student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery was established the North Dakota State University in 1974. Since them the organization has been involved with providing sevices, organizing programming competitions, and offering education and social opportunites for its members. While most of the members are Computer Science students, the ACM also welcomes people in other fields who are interested in technology. THus our chapter also has students in Mathematics, Engineering, Psychology, and other Sciences.

ACM SIGSPATIAL addresses issues related to the acquisition, management, and processing of spatially-related information with a focus on algorithmic, geometric, and visual considerations. The scope includes, but is not limited to, geographic information systems (GIS).

Vicki Hanson is President of ACM (the Association for Computing Machinery), the largest professional society for computing, globally serving computing professionals and students. Vicki is a Distinguished Professor in the B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing at the Rochester Institute of Technology and is a Professor at the University of Dundee, Scotland,  holding a personal chair in Inclusive Technologies.…

The ACM special interest group on Computer GRAPHics and Interactive Techniques, bringing together scientists, engineers, artist, practitioners and entrepreneurs dedicated to the advancement of the Computer Graphics.

ACM SIGCHI (Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction) is the premier international society for professionals, academics and students who are interested in human-technology & human-computer interaction (HCI).

The conference provides a forum for researchers and developers to hear about the latest work on the design, implementations, principles, and uses of functional programming. The conference covers the entire spectrum of work, from practice to theory, including its peripheries.
