<p><i>Scandinavian Journal of Trauma, Resuscitation and Emergency Medicine</i> (SJTREM) is the official journal of the Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation and Scandinavian Networking Group on Trauma and Emergency Management. The journal publishes articles on all aspects of anesthesiology, emergency medicine, resuscitation and trauma, and, in particular, the speed of assistance in survival.  SJTREM is an essential resource for emegency medical technicians, trauma nurse practitioners, emergency surgeons and anesthesiologists.</p><p/>

<i>Systematic Reviews</i> encompasses all aspects of the design, conduct and reporting of systematic reviews. The journal publishes high quality systematic review products including systematic review protocols, systematic reviews related to a very broad definition of health, rapid reviews, updates of already completed systematic reviews, and methods research related to the science of systematic reviews, such as decision modeling. <p><i>Theoretical Biology and Medical Modelling</i> adopts a broad definition of "biology" and focuses on theoretical ideas and models associated with developments in biology and medicine. Mathematicians, biologists and clinicians of various specialisms, philosophers and historians of science are all contributing to the emergence of novel concepts in an age of systems biology, bioinformatics and computer modelling. This is the field in which <i>Theoretical Biology and Medical Modelling </i>operates. The journal welcomes submissions that are technically sound and offering either improved understanding in biology and medicine or progress in theory or method.</p>

These include agenda setting, building health research capacity, and how research as a whole benefits decision makers, practitioners in health and related fields, and society at large.</p><p>Topics addressed include: the role of evidence-based health policy and health research systems in ensuring the efficient use and application of knowledge to improve health and health equity; facilitation of communication between people involved in different areas of research, managers and administrators in charge of research entities, policy makers, innovators, and those charged with funding research. The effects of national and international research systems on research capacity in low-middle income countries is a key issue.</p>

<p>The field of emergency surgery spans a wide range of disciplines including the surgical and emergency medicine specialties. As such, the World Journal of Emergency Surgery is an indispensible resource for emergency surgeons and physicians, providing a forum for the rapid exchange of ideas and findings, and publication of state-of-the art research, including unique case reports and innovative surgical techniques.
