Trichoindo is a research project entitled <<Use of oviposition-induced plant volatiles by Trichogramma parasitoids» (acronym Trichoindo) funded by General Secretariat for Research and Technology under the Operational Program “Education and Lifelong Learning” ESPA 2007-2013 ACTION “EXCELLENCE II” and is implemented in the laboratories of the Benaki Phytopathological Institute. The project objective is the isolation and identification of tomato leafminer oviposition induced volatile compounds that affect the behavior of egg parastioids Trichogramma.
