Keiki O Ka `Āina Family Learning Centers (KOKA-FLC) is a Non Profit 501(c)(3) Corporation that was established in 1996 to serve the needs of the Native Hawaiian community within the context of culturally competent educational and family strengthening programs.

The Hawaii Association of Watershed Partnerships (HAWP) is comprised of nine Watershed Partnerships on six islands. Watershed Partnerships are voluntary alliances of landowners and other partners working collaboratively to protect forested watersheds for water recharge, conservation, and other ecosystem services. HAWP seeks to increase the management and protection of such areas by raising the capacity of Watershed Partnerships, facilitating the sharing of watershed management knowledge, building public support and awareness of watershed values, and developing sustainable funding sources. The Sustainable Communities Network website connects citizens with the resources they need to implement innovative processes and programs to restore the economic, environmental, and social health and vitality of their communities. It addresses a wide range of issues related to community sustainability, including creating communities, smart growth, growing a sustainable economy, protecting natural resources, living sustainably, and governing communities. In addition it gives case studies, resources, related Web sites, links to relevant sites, events calendars, and suggested reading.

Alaska Works develops partnerships with employers, local municipalities, housing authorities, village councils, school boards, and others to increase local hire and provide jobs and career opportunities for rural Alaska residents.
