It also provided better looping and custom backtester performance than AFL scripts. AmiBroker OLE automation scripts can be replaced by .NET console or WinForm applications, auto trading AFL scripts can be replaced by object oriented, complied, reliable .NET code. There is no need to use AmiBroker's ADK and to write a lot error prone glue code in C/C++. AFL, data and optimizer plug-ins can be created using .NET in C#, VB.NET, VC.NET, F# or any other .NET language. .NET for AmiBroker provides managed API to all native C AmiBroker API. It is recommended to use Visual Studio Professional or Visual Studio Express to develop .NET for AmiBroker solutions.
