The Hobson Cooperative School was founded in 1964 by a group of local parents who sought to provide a nurturing and creative nursery school experience for their children. In 1988 Hobson Cooperative School was the first preschool in Naperville to be awarded accreditation by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs. Hobson differs from most preschools in that it allows parents to have an active participation in their child's education by attending classes and class activities. The school also prides itself on its experienced-based learning programs, designed to encouraged students' growth and curiosity.
