Apolonija Šušteršič is an architect and visual artist. Her work is related to a critical analysis of space; usually focused at the processes and relationships between institutions, cultural politics, urban planning and architecture. Her broad – ranging interest starts at phenomenological study of space and continues its investigation into social and political nature of our living environment. He is a frequent lecturer in area art schools and the recipient of numerous awards. Deckert work was featured on the February 2002 cover of Art Calendar Magazine and in the September 2003 edition of Hartford Magazine, and is represented in many collections, both private and public and continuously exhibits in the North East, U.S.A.
