I am a mother, a wife, and a photographer... in that order. ;) I love my family first and foremost. I am a jack of many trades, I love creating, everything - from beautiful images, to costumes, to yummy foods. I love my craft closet, (which is full of stuff I can use to make things for you session that will make it that much more interesting) I love my costume and prop collection, I love thrift stores and flea markets, and I love a good sale anywhere. I enjoy reading good long books as well as writing, (although life has seemed to push that pastime to the side for the most part) and I rarely ever watch TV. I enjoy the outdoors and sports, and when I get old I will be be an avid traveler. ;) The sky amazes me and I have recently began taking random photos of it (awesome for overlays)...., I would love to have a second house at the ocean. I have an obsession with dying my hair random colors dependent upon my mood, and lately am rarely seen without a bandana tied around my head. If asked about my favorite color, I would have to say that I love them all (which is reflected throughout the walls of my home) yet I always gravitate toward things that are black. I am inspired in one way or another by everything that I have ever seen or experienced. (good, bad, and ugly) I like to think that I am a very intelligent person, I have an extremely sarcastic sense of humor at times, and I truly enjoy people. I have a very good sense of style, although my clothing choices for myself may not always reflect that as I am often in a tank top and jeans. (That said, you will never catch me dead in "mom" jeans) I drive too fast, and love music....all genres, like in a "My name is Amanda and I must be schizophrenic due to my playlist" kind of way.... I am not a "professionally trained photographer" so I can show you no credentials aside from my portfolio, as I am completely self taught and expand on my creativity and knowledge whenever possible. I suppose we can call me an extremely passionate artist of the lens, eager to capture and create some fantastic images for you. We are each an unique work of art, I am here to make sure your portraits reflect just that. I can produce a perfectly beautiful image of you sooc (straight out of camera), although rarely will I ever be satisfied with leaving it at that. I would like to consider myself extremely versatile in the creativity department. I love to do themed shoots, and can create costumes as well as other items necessary to pull them off. I have an eye for location, and love and appreciate natural light and texture. I am slightly "edgy", and love to think outside of the box. While there is nothing "conservative" about my taste or personality, I am able to mold my creative juices to suit the situation. So, no matter if you are looking to push the boundaries, or stay comfortably, simply, and beautifully artistic I am the photographer for you. I can do it all. Port City Makerspace is a community tool shop that provides access to a variety of different equipment for a low monthly membership. We have a Wood Shop, Metal Shop, Machine Shop, Electronics Lab with 3D Printing capabilities, an Automotive Garage with an Auto Lift and a Bicycle Repair Workbench, and CNC Routers. We also have a lot of project space to enable members to work on large projects without having to worry about transporting things back and forth. Our goal is to help you make the things you want, be it a new invention, an interesting design, something you dreamed about, or something you saw and figured "I could make that!". Signing up is as easy as going to our Membership page and choosing what level you want. Once you've done that you're ready to come in and start working on stuff! Make sure to stop by the front desk to talk to the person watching the shop so you can take care of some formalities.

I love what I do. I believe that living a creative life is a daily journey for me. I constantly strive to “design” my surrounding and memories so that they will never be forgotten. If I don’t tell my story, then who will? I am a designer and owner of Teresa Collins Designs who puts her heart into everything I design and create. I decorate my projects and home and sprinkle them with “meaning” along the way. We found many brands not only for clothes, but all the things that a child needs from birth. But we couldn't keep it secret!
