Project Cornerstone is the Santa Clara County-wide collaborative working to mobilize our entire community to shift from simply reacting to children and youth as problems to connecting with them so they can thrive. As a catalyst for change, Project Cornerstone aims to ensure that every aspect of our diverse community – individuals, businesses, community organizations, schools and government – understand and embrace the fact that interacting with young people is important…and that every interaction makes a difference. Cornerstone provides training, technical support and in-school programs for youth and adults throughout Silicon Valley to ensure that every child is valued, respected and known.

Illinois YMCA Youth & Government is a mock government program for high school students in the State of Illinois.

Our programs engage over 3,000 high school youth and close to 900 middle school youth each year in California emphasizing leadership and civic involvement. Our efforts build, strengthen and encourage life assets and positive character traits.
