Portfolio, bio, and news for American ceramic artist, Mathew McConnell. Currently residing in Fayetteville AR, he holds an MFA from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a BFA from Valdosta State University. He has been a resident, on two occasions, at The Archie Bray Foundation, and has exhibited widely, nationally and internationally. His works explores authenticity, authorship, and fidelity in an age of digital reproduction. McConnell currently teaches ceramics and other art courses at The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. His name is often misspelled as Matthew, Matt, or Mat.
