NSS College Ottapalam is a Government Aided Arts & Science College of Nair Service Society. The college is affliated to Calicut University. Dr. T.S.Sujatha - NSS COLLEGE OTTAPALAM PRINCIPAL, Courses offered - UGC Career oriented vocational, Degree, Post Graduate, UGC Sponsored, and Research and other extension services. Departments include Botany, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, English, Hindi, History, Malayalam, Mathematics, Physical Education, Physics, Sanskrit, Zoology, Electronics and politics. The clubs include old students association (alumni), PTA, College Union, IQAC, NSS, Environmental Developmemt Club, Women's Cell and Anti-Ragging Cell. N.S.S. College, Ottapalam, affiliated to the University of Calicut was born out of the dreams of the great visionary & social reformer, Sri. Mannath Padmanabhan. At present this institution is a fully fledged Grade I College with 13 UG course and 6 PG courses.
